Rich1988 is more than just a betting platform — it's a community of Malaysian players who share the same passion for sports, casino, and safe, responsible online entertainment.
Rich1988 started with one simple but meaningful goal — to give Malaysian players access to an online betting platform that is truly secure, easy to use, and capable of delivering a world-class entertainment experience. Since launching in 2018, rich1988 has grown from a small platform into one of Malaysia's most recognised online betting destinations, with over 80,000 active members every month and 500+ game options across multiple categories.
We understand that Malaysian players have unique tastes and needs. That's why rich1988 focuses specifically on the local market — from relevant game options like the Malaysia Super League, EPL, badminton, e-sports, baccarat, and lottery, to the payment methods every Malaysian is already familiar with. Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, Boost, ShopeePay, and FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks — all available to make deposits and withdrawals as easy and fast as possible.
One thing that sets rich1988 apart from many other platforms is our commitment to transparency and fairness. We partner with licensed game providers from around the world, all of which undergo independent audits to ensure every game is fair. All Live Casino games use real physical cards dealt from casino studios monitored by multi-angle cameras. The Random Number Generators (RNG) used in our slots and virtual sports are certified by independent bodies and meet international industry standards.
On the security front, rich1988 uses 256-bit SSL encryption to protect all financial transactions and members' personal data. Your information is processed in full compliance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). We never sell, share, or rent member data to third parties without written consent. Every account is protected with an optional two-factor authentication (2FA) for an added layer of security.
Responsible gaming is one of rich1988's core values. We believe entertainment should always stay that way — entertainment. That's why our platform comes equipped with a range of self-management tools — set daily or weekly deposit limits, loss limits, session time limits, as well as options to take a temporary break or close your account if needed. Our support team is also trained to assist any member who needs guidance on how to play more responsibly.
The team behind rich1988 comprises over 200 experienced professionals across technology, finance, customer service, and online gaming. We operate with a clear mission — to ensure every player's interaction with our platform is positive, safe, and enjoyable. Member feedback is our primary guide in every product development decision we make.
Over more than seven years in operation, rich1988 has gone through many changes and improvements. We started with just a handful of game categories and now offer over 500 options spanning live football, badminton, e-sports, live casino baccarat, 4D and Toto lottery, virtual sports, and hundreds of the latest slot games. Every year we continue to invest in platform technology, security, and customer service to ensure rich1988 remains the first choice for Malaysian players.
